The brief
- John Laing Group is a constructor, investor and manager of large-scale infrastructure projects, with investments of approximately £1.2bn.
- Our brief was to rebuild John Laing's site with a new design by 7dots, that would utilise various scrolling features to create a more visually dynamic experience.
What I did
- I did research and development on GSAP scrolling animations for a timeline feature that was in an early draft of the design. I built out a working prototype which I presented to the rest of the development team to demonstrate the capabilities of GSAP.
- I built the bandend and frontend many of the animated features, pages and blocks for the finished site using Silverstripe, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The end result
- The finshed site successfully used the brand's impressive project photography.
